Our spring mixed repertory program will be fresh as a daisy, featuring pieces selected by Artistic Director Adam W. McKinney, including the commissioned world premiere of When Time Stands Still by Pittsburgh-based choreographer and Princess Grace Award Recipient Jae Man Joo, and the world premiere of Violin Pas de Deux by PBT Principal Artist and Choreographer-in-Residence Yoshiaki Nakano. Also lighting up the Benedum stage will be the vibrant colors and high energy of Helen Pickett’s sparkling Petal and the exhilarating piece George Balanchine declared “everything I know about classical ballet in thirteen minutes,” his exuberant and joyous Allegro Brillante.
