PBT is Coming to an Area Near You!

There will be multiple chances to see the company for free in three outdoor performance series on the mobile stage from June-September 2023. The collaborative series includes:

Open Air | Westinghouse Arts Academy | June 22-25, 2023

Artists from Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, as well as several arts and cultural organizations and dance schools throughout Pittsburgh, will take the stage. Enjoy food trucks, free community dance and wellness classes as well as complimentary kids activities. Bringing the vibrancy of Pittsburgh’s performing arts world outdoors, this joyful and community-based series will have a piece for everyone.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will be performing Thursday, June 22 and Friday, June 23.

Open Air | Hazelwood Green | September 29-October 1

 Co-presented by August Wilson African American Cultural Center, Hazelwood Local and PBT.  One last celebration before the start PBT’s 2023-2024 season starts! Attendees can enjoy food trucks, free community dance and wellness classes as well as complimentary kids activities. PBT performance dates and times to be announced.

Ballet Under the Stars | Hartwood Acres | August 20, 2023

The family-friendly event takes place at the Middle Road Concert Area in Hartwood Acres park. The free outdoor event is part of Allegheny County’s Summer Concert Series. Attendees can enjoy food trucks and free kids’ stations, including craft and dance activities, photo opportunities with costumed dancers, face painting and more.
