Engage your students in the arts with thrilling ballet and breathtaking fantasy! At PBT’s student matinees students experience a magical theatrical world with lavish sets, colorful costumes and dramatic lighting, and the artistry and athleticism of PBT’s professional dancers. Imaginations will soar!
Educators can attend our professional development workshops to learn about the production and curricular connections. If you attend the workshop your school is also eligible for up to $200 in transportation funding. Schools qualify for transportation funding based on income levels of their student population. - Schools with 50 – 100% free and reduced lunch student population: $7.00 per person
- Schools with 0 – 49% free and reduced lunch student population: $14.50 per person
- Home school and other groups: $14.50 per person

Celebrate the most delightful time of year with the sweetest of holiday traditions, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker. Join Marie, her Nutcracker prince and hundreds of colorful characters for an unforgettable adventure through the Land of Enchantment. Your students will revel in the stunning scenes, spectacular costumes, sparkling snowflakes and instantly recognizable Tchaikovsky score.

Experience this timeless tale about the transformative power of love, played out against the backdrop of an enchanted forest full of magical creatures. With its gorgeous costumes, magnificent choreography and sets that come alive, the captivating Beauty and the Beast is sure to delight both students and educators alike.
