Student Division Summer Programs

Emphasis is on the enjoyment of dance while reinforcing the discipline of classical ballet training.

New students are required to call 412-281-6727 to schedule a placement class and complete a placement form. You can access the placement form here. The Student Division Summer Audition for new students to be placed will take place on April 7, 2019.

Dress Code for Student Division

Females: Any solid colored leotard (simple style), pink tights, and pink ballet shoes.  Additionally, Junior Intensive students must have jazz and character shoes and a character skirt.

Males: Any solid colored T-shirt, black tights (ankle length or convertible; no cut offs), white socks, and black or white ballet shoes. Additionally, Student Workshop and Jr. Intensive students must have Jazz shoes.

Curriculum may include ballet, pre-pointe, character, and jazz.

WORKSHOP A (Ages 8-10)

This workshop, inspired by the delightfully imaginative and enchanting story of Beauty and the Beast, includes Ballet, Variations, Character, Costuming, and a Culminating Demonstration (end of Week 2).

One-Week Option 1  | Monday – Friday, July 29-August 2 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Tuition: $TBA

One-Week Option 2  | Monday – Friday, August 5-9 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Tuition: $TBA

Two-Week Option  | Monday – Friday, July 29 – August 9 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Tuition: $TBA



Curriculum includes ballet, pointe, variations, pas de deux, character, jazz, repertoire, and culminating demonstration.  No classes Monday, July 4.

Monday–Friday, July 1-19 (3 weeks)

Class Times: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Tuition:  $TBA

Jr. Intensive students may also opt to take part in a lunch program. Students who take part in the lunch program must sign up and pay for the entire three week lunch program.
Cost: $150 for the three week program.

Registration Details

Parents/Guardians must submit a completed registration form, copy of health insurance card, and tuition payment prior to their first class.

  • Returning students must register for the level in which they are currently enrolled or as directed by the School Office.
  • New students are required to take a placement class prior to enrolling. Complete the Level Placement form on this page, and a school representative will contact you to schedule a placement class.

ATTENDANCE:  Consistent attendance is required.  Parent/Guardian must notify the PBT School Office of absences in advance if students must miss a class,

TUITION:  Full tuition for all summer programs is due with completed registration form to the PBT School Office.

Multi-Program Discount: Students enrolling in two or more summer programs will receive a 10% discount off the total combined tuition. Cannot be combined with any other discounts.
