A message from PBT School on COVID-19

PBT is following guidance from several leading health and government sources including CDC, OSHA, and state and local Departments of Health. PBT is also mindful of regulatory compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).  Additionally, PBT networks with outside organizations including IATSE, AGMA, Dance/USA, Allegheny Intermediate Unit, and other relevant organizations within this industry. PBT seeks advice from local health officials and the local medical community, including medical doctors and various exports on the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Board of Trustees.

PBT recognizes that we are operating in a world with constantly changing directives and recommendations from a variety of governmental and health authorities. Therefore, PBT must define a way of doing business that best protects the health of individuals, while also transitioning back to working in our offices and studio facilities.

This plan is subject to change, at any time, as guidance evolves and PBT’s business needs change.
