Ballet

These 90-minute Monday evening and 60-minute Friday evening ballet classes give students a technical foundation of ballet.  Students learn dance elements and vocabulary, space, time and body awareness, and dance class etiquette. Each class begins at barre and ends with a series of ballet combinations at center. Suggested attire: pink ballet tights, ballet slippers and any color leotard (girls); black pants or tights and a white t-shirt (boys)

Hip Hop

These 60-minute Friday evening hip-hop classes start with a thorough warm up, then shift to strengthening the core muscles necessary for proper technique and body control. As each class progresses, we introduce the latest funky, hip-hop combinations, followed by choreography to develop the expressive abilities of the dancers. Suggested attire: comfortable, fitted athletic attire. Sneakers or jazz shoes.
