Q&A

What has your favorite role been? Why?

I have always loved “Elegance” in The Nutcracker. It was the first solo role I was given a year or two after joining the company. It was so intimidating to me then, but after performing it many times per run over 10-15 seasons, I think I really grew into the role and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Who would play you in a movie?

Nicole Kidman

If I weren’t a ballet dancer, I would be…

A flower farmer. When I’m not dancing I grow specialty varieties of cut flowers for farm-fresh bouquets, florists, bi-weekly subscriptions and events.
