Ages 2–7
Classes for children ages 2 through 7. No placement class is needed for the Children’s Division.
Parents should register based on the age of the child on September 1. The student will be assessed by the class instructor and may be re-assigned to a different level if necessary.
Mommy & Me
Mommy & Me classes, age two, offer an introduction to the art of ballet in a nurturing environment. Children begin to explore the world of dance through movement, music and rhythm.
Pre-Ballet
Pre-Ballet classes, Levels A through D, are offered for ages three to six. Imagery, imagination, and self-expression are encouraged while developing a foundation for academic ballet technique.
Level I-B (ages 7-8)
The student expands beyond the previous level. Exercises that develop flexibility and strength accompany exercises for alignment and turn-out. Curriculum includes an additional day of training to prepare for student division. Requires prior ballet training.
Beginning Ballet
Designed for students with little or no prior ballet experience. The fundamentals of ballet are introduced through barre and floor exercises, French terminology and other basic ballet concepts.
No placement class is required to register for classes of the Children’s Division.

Children’s and Student’s Division Summer Programs are designed to keep students’ bodies and minds engaged with all that they learned over the course of the previous school year. These summer programs also offer an opportunity for prospective students to give us a test drive, without the commitment of an entire year.
Registration begins April 1st, 2010
Mommy & Me (age 2)

Dress Code for Children’s Division
Females Any solid color leotard (simple style), pink tights and pink ballet shoes.
Males Any solid color T-shirt, black tights, white socks and black or white ballet shoes.
