Community Engagement and Education
The mission of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Education and Community Engagement Department is to facilitate an appreciation of ballet and dance by both current and future audiences through educational programs and events.
Begun in 1989, PBT's Education and Community Engagement department has provided the greater Pittsburgh community with consistently meaningful and highly-regarded arts encounters for over 20,000 children, families, and adults a year through its educational outreach programs.
