Preschool Programming began at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in the 2004-2005 Season and continues to be explored and developed.
Preschool Discover Dance: Preschool Discover Dance is an instructional, interactive performance experience for students who may be too young to appreciate a full-length, mainstage performance at the theater. Performed at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Studios, the atmosphere is more casual. The program includes an age-appropriate performance interspersed with interactive instruction on choreography, costumes, shoes, and props. Preschoolers enjoy audience participation Creative Movement activities when they are invited to share the floor with PBT School's faculty and graduate students.
