PBT's Adaptive Dance program focuses on providing children with sensory sensitivities the opportunity to explore movement in ways that promote body awareness and coordination. Our classes emphasize creative movement principles and simplified ballet technique within a welcoming, structured environment. Check out the article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and "On Stage: Exploring Ballet in a New Way" in CrossCurrents by Jane Vranish (scroll down to the Jan. 15, 2015 entry).
Next session begins in January 2016! For more information contact email@example.com or (412) 454-9109.
Classes are taught by PBT School instructors experienced in Adaptive Dance. Classes are limited to 15 students and are accompanied by live percussion music. Caregivers are allowed to observe and/or participate in the classes as desired.
