Harris N. Ferris

A recognized manager in the dance field, as well as a former dancer, Mr. Ferris has headed several ballet companies, each time stabilizing the company by leading it to a more secure financial footing while raising its profile. Ferris was most recently Executive Director of Nevada Ballet Theatre in Las Vegas. He previously headed New Jersey's American Repertory Ballet, where he also served as Managing Director to the affiliated Princeton Ballet School, giving him insight into the important relationship between a ballet company and a major, nationally ranked ballet school.

As a dancer, Mr. Ferris enjoyed a 13-year professional career at the Empire State Ballet in Buffalo. Mr. Ferris attended Bard College, holds a BA from The State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from Rutgers University.
